Stencl exhibition Berlin

In April 2023 Rachel Lichtenstein went to Berlin to collaborate with the collective Yiddish.Berlin on a series of events that explored the life and work of Stencl. This short film documents the opening night of the exhibition and shows Rachel Lichtenstein in conversation with Arndt Beck from Yiddish.Berlin. The exhibition was first shown at the Manchester Poetry Library and gives an introduction to Stencl’s eventful life and includes multimedia work from Rachel Lichtenstein’s research including artwork, a film and radio programme, which were available in the gallery.
